Morning - I took Amtrak Train #130 (PHL-NYC):

Had empty seat next to me, train was little over half full I estimate. The train departed and arrived on time, a good way to start the year.

Evening - I took Amtrak Train #187 (NYC-PHL):

• TRE 8:31, +5
• PHL 9:03, +7
  

Empty seat next to me on this leg, train was about half full.
