Amtrak Tracking for My Commute Between New York City and Philadelphia

NY Post looking to do a piece on Phi-NYC commuters, they're looking for commuters to interview!

I received this email from Jennifer Ceaser at the New York Post. She's looking for folks to talk to who do or have done the Philly to NYC commute (her email and phone number are below). This is a great idea for an article as a lot of us do it (or did it) but it gets little exposure. And with no exposure when Amtrak jacks up their rate no one knows or cares and we get stuck paying more, maybe we can change this.

Her email:

Hello, I am writing a feature article for the New York Post on people who live in Philadelphia, but who commute regularly to NYC. This is for the Home/Real Estate section. I really want to speak to regular folks who have been priced out of New York, and the pros and cons of living in Philly, commuting to NYC, etc. I would love to speak with you further, and find out more about your situation. Please email or give me a call!

Best,
Jennifer Ceaser

I No Longer Commute to NYC, I now live in Manhattan

I no longer commute from Philly to NYC. I have recently moved to Manhattan. At $1008/mo for a monthly pass it's now cheaper to live in NYC than commute via Amtrak. Kidding of course but also (sadly) slightly serious. Many events transpired for this event which perhaps I'll cover elsewhere. I'll continue on with this blog as best I can as most folks do find it useful based the feedback I have received. And it's something I wish I had available when I was doing the commute regularly.
